Ravelry – a knit and crochet community

where my stitches at?™
Ravelry is the MySpace of yarnworkers, except with less offers of lonely housewives in your area’ and more snark about acrylic yarn. It’s still in Beta, so it takes a bit of time to get an invite (got mine in about a week) but it’s totally worth it.
From their website:
Ravelry is a place for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners, and dyers to keep track of their yarn, tools, and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration. The content here is all user- driven; we as a community make the site what it is.
Robust pattern search, yarn search, and forums make it a great place to find things to do. And they have this great ‘add to queue’ function, so that you can bookmark things as they seem interesting. It also lets you inventory your stash.
B, I’m looking at you.
Look me up if you’re online: Username: Mousewrites, of course.
